It looks like England are not the only people to mess up at a recent football tournament.
Someone at Adidas must have been snoozing during geography at school – check out the image below and see if you can spot the error they made on all their ads featuring the Colombian football team ahead of the Copa America tournament.
See, Colombia is a country in South America, while Columbia is a university in NYC, a Canadian district and a film production company (among other things).
Adidas have scored a huge own goal here. They have since apologised to the Colombian community, but that didn’t stop social media from picking up on the huge gaffe and ultimately hurting the company’s image.
So if you’re feeling low due to the England team’s performance at Euro 2016 then just be glad you’re not Adidas right now!
