This article is about a stunning piece of customer service I recently experienced from Laurel House Charcoal Grill in St Albans.
As you can see from the image below, these aren’t your ordinary burgers but what amazed me was the superb customer service the owner showed when faced with a specific request from us.
My son and I popped into this place for a quick bite to eat as it had been highly recommended. Unfortunately, they only served the burgers on brioche buns which my son can’t eat due to a dairy allergy and he was starving!
What happened next simply amazed me – after seeing the look of disappointment on my son’s face, the owner went to the nearest supermarket to buy some plain buns which he could eat.
He then carefully explained the rest of the ingredients in the burger to make sure he was not allergic to anything else before preparing the best burgers we had ever tasted. Needless to say they have secured my business for many years to come!
